What are PTFE (Teflon) molded and machined components?+
They are precision parts made from PTFE — the fluoropolymer widely known as Teflon® — produced by moulding and CNC machining. Fluoro Polymer Products manufactures them to tight tolerances in virgin and filled grades for chemical, pharmaceutical, food and electronics applications.
Can you machine PTFE components to a custom drawing?+
Yes. We machine PTFE (Teflon) components to your drawings or samples, from simple shapes to complex geometries, using in-house CNC machining. Send your specification and our engineers will recommend the right grade and tolerances.
Which PTFE grades are available for machined parts?+
We offer virgin PTFE for maximum chemical purity, plus glass-filled, carbon-filled, graphite- and bronze-filled grades where higher load capacity, wear resistance or dimensional stability is needed.
